DESCRIPTION
When launching the installer in Fedora KDE 44 using the touchscreen of a laptop
it causes the on-screen keyboard to appear but will not hide when the user
tries.
Whether you touch an empty area of the screen or the specific hide keyboard
button, it doesn't work.
Dismissing the keyboard required opening a separate app (Konsole), touching
that app, and then touching an empty space on the desktop.
It seems like this dismissal behavior depends on a focus change between
different windows.
When working as expected you can dismiss the keyboard by just pressing the
super key to open Kickoff but this does not work either.
This issue occurs only when using touchscreen interactions pre-installation.
After you install the system, the keyboard seems to hide correctly during
testing.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Boot Fedora KDE 44 with Live ISO
Touch the install button in the setup window
The on-screen keyboard appears
Attempt to dismiss the keyboard by touching an empty space on the screen or by
touching the keyboard hide button.
OBSERVED RESULT
The on-screen keyboard will not go away.
EXPECTED RESULT
Touching an empty space on the screen or the keyboard hide button should hide
the keyboard.
