DESCRIPTION
copy paste from local folder to android device connected via usb cable (android
device connected via mtp or ptp) where folder structure already exists dolphin
fails to merge folders/files
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. connect android device (pixel 8 pro in my case) via usb cable
2. set android device to mtp or ptp for file transfer
3. copy files (via click and drag in my instance) from local location to
android location that requires merging of files/folders (some folders and files
may already exist but there also may be some new files/folders to be copied
into the android device)
4. observe red banner in dolphin give the error: Could not make folder /Pixel 8
Pro/Internal shared storage/Pictures/first_folder_name_that_needs_to_be_merged
5. copy attempt is aborted and no files were copied to the android device
OBSERVED RESULT
copy attempt is aborted with error "Could not make folder /Pixel 8 Pro/Internal
shared storage/Pictures/first_folder_name_that_needs_to_be_merged." and no
files were copied to the android device
EXPECTED RESULT
a pop up window occurs that asks if you want to override or skip the files that
already exist and then the new files files get copied into the android device.
