Summary: System fails to suspend again if not interacted with
Classification: Plasma
Product: plasmashell

Reported In:
Platform: openSUSE
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED

Component: Power management & brightness
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: 1.0
DESCRIPTION
If the PC comes back from sleep but it's not interacted with (no touching to
keyboard or mouse), it's not going to sleep again.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. In the power management KCM set the "Go to sleep after" idle timeout to 1
minute
2. Let the computer suspend
3. Turn it on, but apart from pressing the power button, don't touch it.
OBSERVED RESULT
The system stays awake indefinitely.
After one minute of inactivity, it goes to sleep properly when I move the
mouse.
EXPECTED RESULT
The system goes to sleep again even if I don't move the mouse.
