Here are the steps for reproducing: 1. Create an arbitrary file (e.g. "/tmp/test.txt") 2. Right-click on it, and select "Compress → Compress to..." 3. Click on the "Open file dialog" next to the folder path, and select "Open" (you don't need to actually change the path) 4. Select "OK", and Dolphin crashes It seems that Step 3 (selecting the path through "Open file dialog") is the cause of the crash. Inputting the path directly in the edit line does not trigger the crash, and a new window of the target directory will be opened if it is different from the current working directory.
