examples with icon overlays
I suggest moving the starting position of the overlay to the bottom‑left corner
(curren position is bottom-right corner), since many popular icon themes add
their badges to the bottom‑right corner, and as a result, an overlay icon (like
emblem of symbolic link) overlaps this badge from icon theme.
For example: Papirus
(https://github.com/PapirusDevelopmentTeam/papirus-icon-theme/).
And it seems that in macOS and Windows, the starting position is bottom‑left
corner.
Perhaps, it would be nice to have the ability to change this position if the
user so desires (to select any of the four corners as the starting position).
This would also come in handy if KDE doesn’t move it to the bottom‑left as the
new default.
However, if I understand correctly, this behavior is currently determined by
KGuiAddons, which is a Tier-1 framework, and it cannot depend on KConfig (to
read the config).
