            Bug ID: 524923

with Plasma settings without user intervention
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasma-login-manager
      Version First 6.7.4
       Reported In:
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]

  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
I should not be required to manually got to PLM's KCM to apply any change to
Plasma to also apply to PLM.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Change some setting in Plasma (like disable an external monitor)
2. Log out

OBSERVED RESULT
1. The setting is not applied to the login screen (monitor is on)

EXPECTED RESULT
1. The setting is applied to the login screen.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Fedora Linux 44
KDE Plasma Version: 6.7.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.30.0
Qt Version: 6.11.1
Kernel Version: 7.1.10-200.fc44.x86_64 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 16 × Intel® Core™ i9-9880H CPU @ 2.30GHz
Memory: 64 GiB of RAM (62.5 GiB usable)
Graphics Processor 1: Intel® UHD Graphics 630
Graphics Processor 2: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 with Max-Q Design
(this is from a 6.8 dev session, but I think PLM is supplied from Fedora,
unless it was built with plasma-workspace, anyway pastin what kinfo gave me)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I originally went to report to request any sync at all and was pleasantly
surprised to find the button in the KCM to apply the settings - but that was
only after quite some time putting up with the monitors being ordered wrong in
PCM. I am sure many users will never discover that they need to manually sync
the settings, or it will take them time. Or they will forget they have to do it
when they change anything later.

I sort of assume this is on the roadmap but I could nto find a bug report to
track it.
