With certain non-KDE thumbnailers installed, it can be hard to tell the
difference between thumbnailer plugins. For instance, I have a package called
`glycin-loaders` installed, which is required by `libgtk-3-0` and
`AppStream-compose` on openSUSE Tumbleweed. `glycin-loaders` installs a
thumbnailer named "JPEG image", which is almost identical in name to KDE's own
"JPEG images" thumbnailer. We should find a way to disambiguate them.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have `glycin-loaders` and all the usual KDE thumbnailers installed.
2. Open Dolphin.
3. Go to Configure Dolphin... in the menu.
4. Look at the Previews tab in the Interface page.
OBSERVED RESULT
There is an entry for "JPEG Image" and "JPEG Images" with no obvious way to
tell the difference.
EXPECTED RESULT
There should be a way to tell what is different between them without needing to
figure it out from using a tooltip to view the file path.
Initially, I did not expect there to be a tooltip, so I searched all the
.desktop files in /usr/ and my own ~/kde6/usr/ development environment for
"JPEG Image(s)?" to see if I had duplicate thumbnailers installed. Now that I
know there are tooltips, it's not hard to avoid that mistake again, but I still
think this issue will confuse people.
