            Bug ID: 525468
Summary: RTL text rendering issue in kcm_fonts preview dropdown
                    (Arabic characters disconnected and displayed
                    Left-to-Right)
    Classification: Applications
           Product: systemsettings
      Version First 6.7.5
       Reported In:
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: kcm_fonts

the kcm_fonts preview with wrong Arabic rendering.

When using KDE System Settings in an Arabic locale, the preview dropdown menu
for sub-pixel rendering/hinting options in the kcm_fonts breaks Arabic text
shaping and directionality. The sample sentence is rendered with disconnected
letters (isolated forms) and displayed from Left-to-Right (LTR) instead of
Right-to-Left (RTL).

This used be rendered correctly. However, I'n not sure in with version get
broken.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. run kcm_fonts in Arabic locale
LANGUAGE=ar_OM:ar LC_ALL=ar_OM.UTF-8 kcmshell6 kcm_fonts
2. go to the sub-pixel rendering dropdown list.

OBSERVED RESULT
The Arabic sample text (e.g., "أبجد هوز حطي كلمن صعفض قرشت ثخذ ضظغ") appears:
1- Reversed in direction: Rendered LTR instead of RTL (starts with "غ‌ض‌ظ...").
2- Disconnected letters: Individual characters are rendered in their isolated
forms without proper BiDi/Shaping support (e.g., "غ ظ ض" instead of "ضظغ").

see the attached screenshot.

EXPECTED RESULT

The preview should be rendered like this:
أبجد هوز حطي كلمن صعفض قرشت ثخذ ضظغ
