Example: COSTCO WHSE #1266 DALLAS TX I can set the Payee to "COSTCO WHSE" and use partial match, and it works fine. This setting also works for other Costco locations (I don't need to track each location as a separate Payee). To use Exact match, I would have to clean up the CSV file to take all the extra stuff out, changing "COSTCO WHSE #1266 DALLAS TX" to just "COSTCO WHSE". That's a LOT of extra work. That's why I use Partial match for most of the Payees. Being able to set Partial match as the default would make it quicker and easier to setup my new Payees.
