That is precisely why I politely asked for an option to disable the user list rather than demanding an immediate fix — I know SDDM serves as a workaround for now. However, using Fedora, we know how aggressively legacy packages get dropped once a new default takes over (much like what happened during the X11 to Wayland migration). SDDM could easily be removed from the repositories in a future release. Instead of having to manually replace the greeter and install SDDM on every new machine we deploy, it makes far more sense to fix this in PLM now so we can just stick with it moving forward — that's why I reported my input here. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
