I have have been using symbolic links to spreadsheets stored in my onedrve
folder for several months now. I didn't realize there was a problem until
tonight when I was saving one of my spreadsheets and I did a save as and
happened to notice it wasn't saving back to Onedrive, it was pointing to the
local folder. The actual spreadsheet is located in
/home/terry/OneDrive/Desktop/2026 Tucson SEL Equipment list.xlsx. I created a
symbolic link to it on my desktop. The link itself is correct and points to the
file in OneDrive. I tested the same link from Konsole using: libreoffice
--calc "$(readlink -f "$HOME/Desktop/2026 Tucson SEL Equipment list.xlsx")"
When I opened it this way and selected Save As, it correctly showed
/home/terry/OneDrive/Desktop/. When I open the same symbolic link normally,
Save As shows /home/terry/Desktop/. I am running Kubuntu 26.04 LTS, Dolphin
25.12.3, Plasma 6.6.6 and Wayland.
