qml trace, pkg info, sys info and other applets
After updating to Plasma 6.7.5 on Fedora 44, the network management applet
fails to load in the panel. The network itself works fine; only the QML
applet is broken.
Steps already attempted (all failed):
- Full system upgrade + reboot
- distro-sync of plasma-nm, kf6-kirigami, kf6-kirigami-addons
- Cleared ~/.cache/plasma* and restarted plasmashell
- No user-level QML overrides exist
Error from journalctl / plasmawindowed:
qrc:/org/kde/plasma/networkmanagement/...: Cannot assign object of type
"IconPropertiesGroup" to property of type "Primitives.IconPropertiesGroup*"
This appears to be a Kirigami/Qt Declarative type registration mismatch
rather than a plasma-nm logic bug. Other Kirigami-based applets may also
be affected, such as windowlist.
The exact output is attached below. Excuse me if I made too much assumptions.
System: Fedora 44, kernel 7.2.4-200.fc44.x86_64
Qt 6.11.2, KF6 Kirigami 6.30.0
