Opening a PSD authored in Photoshop CS6 (or similarly, files from Clip Studio
Paint) that uses a common manga/anime coloring pattern — a group containing
several independent "clip to base" runs stacked flatly one after another (e.g.
`MASK(base) + color(clip)`, then another `MASK(base) + color(clip) +
highlight/shadow/deep(clip, various blend modes)`, etc., all as siblings in one
group) — results in:
- Each layer's **thumbnail** in the Layers panel showing the correct color.
- The **canvas composite** showing line art only for some or all of these
groups, with the clipped color layers not visibly contributing at all.
Flattening the clipping layers together in Photoshop before opening in Krita
works around the problem, which points at Krita's clipping-mask handling
specifically, not general PSD parsing.
