I think maybe your needs are better served by third party managers then, not sure Klipper aims to do all of those. But I agree that 2 would be useful. I am frequently frustrated myself when I do not know whether I have plain text in the clipboard or something rich (and some ui to switch between them would be useful). For one, you have starred.
