DESCRIPTION
I have the Day-Night cycle set to my location. This produces the wrong settings
for Night Light: it sets sunset to ~11:23AM-11:52AM and sunrise to
~10:21PM-10:50PM. This is off by ~15 hours, so I'm not quite sure what is going
wrong. It does seem to be setting the Night Light for about the right /amount/
of time (we have ~11 hours of darkness right now), but I can't tell what
particular amount it is off by.
After some poking around the settings, I think I may have a culprit. In System
Settings > Day-Night Cycle, when I select "Determine sunrise and sunset times
based on the device's location", the little geolocation marker is placed
correctly atop Vancouver, BC. When I go to another tab (i.e. Night Light) and
back, this has put me somewhere else, about atop the north coast of Spain. I
actually see the location marker /change/ from Vancouver to Spain when I click
back, for half a second.
If I set my location manually, Night Light hours appear to work fine, so this
seems like a bug in the Day-Night cycle settings specifically. I've attached an
image showing this location. I don't know why this location is being detected.
My public IP is recognizable as being in Vancouver, BC.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Exist somewhere other than northern Spain.
2. Set the Day-Night cycle to be based on the device's location.
3. Click away to a different tab, and come back to the Day-Night cycle tab.
