For testing, I cloned my current desktop installation to another drive and updated it from Plasma 6.6.5 to 6.7.5. That updated installation boots into Wayland successfully when used on my Intel laptop, but Wayland fails when the same installation is used on AMD hardware. I also tested the reverse: I took a different KDE neon installation (the one originally used on my AMD laptop), updated it to Plasma 6.7.5, and tested that installation on my main rig. Wayland loads properly there. So the issue appears to depend on an interaction between my current KDE neon installation and AMD graphics. It is not simply that Plasma 6.7.5 fails on AMD hardware, since another KDE neon installation running Plasma 6.7.5 works on the same AMD hardware. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
