(In reply to TraceyC from comment #17) I'm not able to reproduce this with Dolphin 26.08.1 Frameworks 6.30.0 Can you reproduce the bug with a brand new user? --- I tested this with a brand new user as requested. The issue is also reproducible there. I opened Dolphin, changed the panel positions/sizes, closed Dolphin, and relaunched it. The panel position reset to its previous/default position. I documented the test in the attached screenshots. The terminal output at the bottom of the screenshots also contains the messages: Before relaunch: “This is before test the positions are saved. Now, relaunching to observe if it reset” After relaunch: “The position reset...” The new user's desktop/Dolphin appearance is different from my normal account because it is a completely fresh profile without my HyDE dotfiles and other user-specific configurations. However, the panel position still does not persist after restarting Dolphin. If this is working as expected on your side and you don't want to pursue it further, that's fine.
