A video displaying the cutoff in the WiFi & Internet panel, even with the
scrollspace
DESCRIPTION
This happens in both states of minimum width or just as the left sidebar opens.
As far as I've looked around, this doesn't happen anywhere else, as it is
correctly dynamically adjusted elsewhere. The window is too narrow, causing
content to be partially cut off. Additionally, even the horizontal scroll space
still does not contain enough space, and the content remains cut off further
than the scrollbar or scroll space allows.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open System Settings
2. Open Wifi & Network Settings
3. Resize to the smallest width it lets you, and after that slowly resize until
the left sidebar appears
Alternatively;
1. Click on the default KDE WiFi/Networks widget in the taskbar
2. Click on "configure" on whatever network you are connected to
3. Resize to the smallest width it lets you, and after that slowly resize until
the left sidebar appears
OBSERVED RESULT
The window is too narrow, causing content to be partially cut off. This effect
is strongest seen in the "WiFi" or "General" tab of a network rather than the
"Status" tab. Additionally, even if you scroll to the side as the horizontal
scrollbar indicates, the content is cut off beyond the point which the
scrollbar allows you to go.
EXPECTED RESULT
The minimum width is limited to the width at which content is not cut off (or
at least with a horizontal scrollbar), and the width at which the left sidebar
opens is increased such that it does not open to such a state, if screen width
allows for either.
Alternatively, if screen space does not allow for either, make sure that the
content is still not cut off even in the scroll space that is used to display
content that would have been otherwise cut off, but in this case is cut off
even in the scrollspace.
