Nate Graham <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEEDSINFO |RESOLVED Resolution|WAITINGFORINFO |WORKSFORME --- Comment #8 from Nate Graham <[email protected]> --- The way KDE does bug triage reflects our exceptionally limited bug triage resources compared to the volume of bug reports we receive. If you want to help change that, you can submit better bug reports that are actionable for developers. If, on the other hand, you continue to report un-actionable bug reports and then argue about how you think bug triagers should more of the work for you, you are consuming *more* of those limited resources and making it *less* likely that anyone will want to do it for your bugs. --- In the future, please go through https://community.kde.org/Troubleshooting yourself before submitting bug reports, and try to make them as actionable as possible. You might also try learning to appreciate how amazing it actually is that you got world-class software from KDE for free, and also were able to request support for free, and received responses from an actual human for free, and that the human who responded is actually a reasonably-technically-capable decision-maker and not just some underpaid drone in Bangladesh reading a script. All of that is what leads me to request a basic investment of time from you to make it easier for us to do what you're asking us to do. If that seems like too much to ask⦠well, the world is full of alternative software you can use for free, and then I'd encourage you to use something where the available support resources meet your standards. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
