--- Comment #34 from Murz <[email protected]> --- Seems I found the root cause: to make the global shortcuts work the app needs to register them using a .desktop file. But seems the appimage file does not do this, but in the system there are some old files left in the directory `~/.local/share/applications`. So, I removed them, then the "Crow translate" category disappeared from the Shortcuts list in the KDE settings. If I install it using `appman`, it recreates the `.desktop` file with name "crow-translate-AM.desktop" and creates wrong shortcuts like this: ``` [Desktop Action TranslateSelectedText] Exec=/home/alexey_korepov/.local/bin/crow-translate org.kde.CrowTranslate /org/kde/CrowTranslate/MainWindow translateSelection ``` It should call `qdbus6` instead of the app itself, right? And the file name should match the registering app id, so `org.kde.CrowTranslate.desktop` in our case. Wanted to try Flatpak, but no new releases available there: https://flathub.org/en/apps/org.kde.CrowTranslate - only 3.1 version. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
