The widget pop up
DESCRIPTION
Mounted .img file is detected as removable drive in the widget and makes the
widget pop up on boot. The mounted volume isn't actually removable and the
widget correctly failed on attempt to remove it, however it is cluttering the
panel for no reason. Also a workaround I have found is by disabling the widget
and re-enabling it, which suggest me that this is a bug on state consistency,
not intended behaviour.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have this kind of fstab entry:
[.img_file_name] [mount_point] btrfs
loop,rw,noatime,compress-force=zstd:1,x-systemd.automount,nofail 0 0
2. Reboot system
3. 5 seconds or so after login, the widget pop up and stays there until I do
the manual workaround
OBSERVED RESULT
Widget pops out and shows the .img file as removable drive
EXPECTED RESULT
Nothing should pop up
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a
terminal window):
KDE Plasma Version: 6.7.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.30.0
Qt Version: 6.11.2
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The fstab entry may not have to be identical to mine, but I just copy paste
mine so someone can figure out if it affects the outcome.
