I also came across this issue. Gentoo Linux installs kirigami as well. I can
understand there could be a legitimate use for it, a system with limited
resources.
I would also think there should be a visible distinction in name or at least in
About menu informing its a separate and cut-down version. It was my first time
using it and I thought okular is just very basic or broken somehow.
