Pushed by redstrate into branch 'master'. fix protocol being chopped off urls The default value of the protocol config was `QStringLiteral("https")`, but QUrl didn't recognize it as a QStringLiteral whose value is "https", rather, it was seen as a QString whose value is `"QStringLiteral(\"https\")"`. `qInfo`'ing the API protocol value would return that. Because it wasn't recognized as a valid scheme, QUrl would ignore it and cut off any existing protocols from the final url.
