Hello,
On my new Thinkpad x9-15p with a panther lake chip (X7 358H) and a fresh
install of Kubuntu 26.04.1 up to date, I have a lot of graphical artefacts and
stutters, randomly, beginning right after having logged in my session, with a
crash.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1- Log in my session
OBSERVED RESULT
The taskbar is flashing with multi-colors, the applications (Dolphin, Firefox,
Konsole...) stutters, the scrolling in applications is erratic.
Then I can have
1) a black screen during a few seconds, then plasma recovers with an error
message saying that kwin has crashed (I send the report with DrKonqi),
2) or I just have an application like Firefox that crash.
AFTER this crash (1 or 2), the situation is less colorful, by that I mean I
don't encounter an other crash during my session, it seems, for the moment...
EXPECTED RESULT
- No crash and no graphical problems.
I tried to have the most informations in this bug report, I will try to report
the same to Kubuntu team.
I have not this problem on a Fedora KDE 44 up to date, with Plasma 6.7.5.
