DESCRIPTION
With Plasma 6.8 Beta 2, I can't get direct scanout at all. HDR and night light
off (although neither of those broke direct scanout prior to this beta)
I've tested it with the 'show compositing' effect from the KWin Debug Console.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Enable the 'show compositing' effect.
2. Launch, for example, vkcube.
3. Fullscreen it.
OBSERVED RESULT
Red 'compositing' border is still there.
EXPECTED RESULT
Red 'compositing' border disappears and direct scanout goes into effect.
