DESCRIPTION

I have been experiencing Persistent wireless Keyboard/mouse battery low popups.
I cannot for the life of me get rid of them or find out, but this may help:

I installed Solaar to gain additional keyboard control of my Logitech keyboard
and mouse combo almost a year ago (Batteries last long), and before then I
never had a battery low warning either (Newer feature?), but the keyboard and
mouse both have one, so that's good, but bad because neither indicated a low
battery state which is hard to miss. Just about 2, maybe 3 weeks ago, I got a
popup with the Solaar icon, not the battery one. telling me my batteries were
low, it did not say which of the two devices. Since I knew they were fine, I
still put fresh ones in to see: Nothing, and this freaking popup (two each
time) and sound just keep coming every 5, to 15 minutes. I thought it must be
Solaar, and thought I unpair the devices, re-pair them again and that would
work: I lost them completely!! Solar couldn't find them at all... Many hours
(days) of work to fix but at least have those back. I decided Solaar is utter
garbage, uninstalled it, and the messages keep coming, complete with the Solaar
Icon, after reboots and just won't stop!!! (IT'S INSANE I TELL YOU!!!)

There is no autostart entry, solar is uninstalled sans Icon I guess, and so now
I think it may be a KDE bug or Solaar messed up KDE! This is a real freaking
doozy! There is a thread on discuss.kde on the popup not closing even during
and after a charge, but kind of too different.

Do you have the magic to fix it? I did disable the popups in the power
management (didn't used to be any for peripherals, at least not in Plasma 5.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. All above
2. too many to
3. list separately.

OBSERVED RESULT
Persistent power management popups

EXPECTED RESULT
Peace and quiet.
