Screenshot taken after the battle that resulted in the victory dialog

I encountered what appears to be an incorrect victory-condition check during a
game.
My player was Victor Emmanuel (Italy) and the assigned objective was:
“Conquer Africa, North America and another continent of your choice.”
At the time shown in the attached screenshot, I controlled Africa and North
America completely, but I did not control any third continent.
The last battle was against Akihito for Greenland. I won the battle and
captured Greenland, which completed my control of North America. Immediately
after that battle, KsirK declared me the winner.
However, the third-continent requirement had clearly not been fulfilled. In
particular, South America was not under my complete control because Chile was
still controlled by Akihito, and I did not completely control Europe, Asia or
Oceania either.
Therefore, at the moment the victory dialog appeared, I controlled only the two
explicitly required continents — Africa and North America — rather than the
required three continents.
Expected behavior:
The game should declare victory only after the player controls Africa, North
America, and one additional complete continent.
Actual behavior:
The game declared victory as soon as Africa and North America were both
completely controlled.
The attached screenshot was taken immediately after the battle that triggered
the victory condition. The panel on the right is the log of that last battle
(Greenland), while the flags on the map show the current ownership of the
territories.
This is game-breaking because the match ends and the player is declared the
winner before the assigned objective has actually been completed.
