Bug ID: 526346
Summary: Missing IPv6 tab for StrongSwan VPN
Classification: Applications
Product: systemsettings
Version First 6.6.6
Reported In:
Platform: Kubuntu
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: kcm_networkmanagement
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
CC: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
DESCRIPTION
KDE StrongSwan IPsec VPN settings doesn't have the IPv6 settings tab that the
GTK nm-connection-editor has. My country has bad IPv6, and I don't want to open
a GTK app just to disable this.
As an aside, there is still one `stable-privacy` IPv6 address in `ip a` both
before and after, but that's another problem if at all.
A related issue is https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=457656 , but they want
to configure IPv6, whereas I just want to disable it.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. `kcmshell6 kcm_networkmanagement`
2. Click "+"
3. Look vainly for an IPv6 tab that should be immediately right of the IPv4 tab
OBSERVED RESULT
There is no IPv6 tab
EXPECTED RESULT
There should be an IPv6 tab like my Ethernet connection and like
nm-connection-editor
