Reproducible . I used an external hdd ntfs-3g a folder in it and i created a
symlink in a linux folder. What i tested:

move the source folder that exists to a NTFS drive. The symlink does NOT work
move the source folder that exists to a NTFS drive AND rename a file in the
folder. The symlink does NOT work
ONLY rename the source folder that is in a NTFS drive AFTER the creation of the
symlink: doesn NOT work
ONLY rename a file inside the source folder that is in a NTFS drive AFTER the
creation of the symlink: works

the source folder EVEN if the symlink is broken can be moved and renamed
without root permission

HDD file system: NTFS-3g
Operating System: Fedora Linux 44
Dolphin 26.08.1
KDE Plasma Version: 6.7.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.30.0
