Bug ID: 526378
Summary: Content font selection does not default to the one in
use
Classification: Applications
Product: Tokodon
Version First 26.08.1
Reported In:
Platform: Flatpak
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: [email protected]

Target Milestone: ---
DESCRIPTION
Font selection in settings indicates it's currently using Noto 10. Attempting
to change the font to just pick a larger size shows a dialog where the
selection is the first font in the list, not Noto, and the first font size (6)
and not the in-use size (10).
I posit that if Noto Sans 10pt is the active font (or any other font has been
chosen), the UI modal should default to those values, not the first ones in the
lists (for me, Adwaita, Bold, 6).
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Tokodon
2. Settings
3. Appearance
4. Posts > Content font - shows as Noto Sans 10pt
5. Click the content font chevron to get the font selector
OBSERVED RESULT
Font selected by default is not the font listed by Content font - it's Adwaita
Bold 6.
EXPECTED RESULT
Model UI will default to selecting the font face, weight, size that the
settings UI shows as default.
