The Akonadi DAV resource discovers external calendar subscriptions from a
Nextcloud account, but does not refresh newly added one-shot events from some
of those subscriptions.
Affected external subscriptions:
- BC97 Alles
- Billard Nu
- Billard CueScore
Observed result on two independent openSUSE/KDE installations:
- The calendar collections are discovered by akonadi-davgroupware.
- They are enabled and selectable in Kontact/KOrganizer.
- Their existing events are stored locally.
- Explicit collection-tree and per-collection synchronization does not fetch
newer events.
The newest locally stored DTSTART in the affected calendars is 2026-06-14.
However, the current underlying Calmerge ICS feed contains events from
2026-09-13 through 2027-06-12.
Nextcloud Calendar itself displays the current events, and Apple Calendar using
the same Nextcloud account also displays the current events.
A second external subscription, TeamUpSnooker, appears current in KOrganizer,
but it consists almost entirely of recurring events (240 of 248 local items
have RRULE). Its last new one-shot entry is from 2026-03-20, so it does not
demonstrate that Akonadi refreshes newly added events.
The issue has persisted across at least two to three major Nextcloud server
versions. Recreating the DAV resource on one affected laptop did not resolve
it.

- KOrganizer / KDE PIM 26.08.1
Expected result:
When Nextcloud refreshes an external ICS subscription and new individual events
exist, Akonadi DAV should retrieve those events during a synchronization.
Actual result:
The collection remains present, but only its old event set is shown. New
one-shot events remain absent indefinitely.
