The log I got from Krita.
DESCRIPTION
I've been using Krita 5.3.1 since March this year and I have had no issues
whatsoever until last week when Krita began suddenly crashing on me after a few
minutes of drawing. At first I thought it was a memory issue. I merged some
layers, removed some unnecessary reference images, it still crashed. I get
annoyed and step away for a couple of days, hoping it's a fluke that'll go away
when I turn on my computer again.
I decide to start a new project and start doodling. It crashes after a few
minutes. Okay, not a fluke. So here I am after spending multiple sessions
across multiple days trying to diagnose the crash. I've restarted my computer,
I've updated to 5.3.4, I've reduced the undo memory, I've closed every other
application to ensure that only Krita is using RAM, I've scrolled through the
forums, Reddit, and Youtube and can't find ANY fix for the issue. It doesn't
matter if it's a project I've worked on for weeks or a project I've worked on
for 5 minutes.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
I have no clue. I have no idea what changed last week for it to start doing
this.
OBSERVED RESULT
Just crashes after a few minutes of drawing.
EXPECTED RESULT
Not crashing.
