KCM "Connection Details" is always empty — ConnectionInfo.qml reads the removed
flat ConnectionDetails role
Steps to reproduce
On Plasma Mobile, open the Wi-Fi quick setting and tap the gear
(plasma-open-settings kcm_mobile_wifi).
Tap the currently connected Wi-Fi network. The "Connection Info" page
opens.
The Connection Details FormCard is empty.
Expected The Connection Details section lists IPv4 address, default gateway,
nameservers, and Wi-Fi details (SSID, security, frequency, BSSID, MAC).
NetworkManager has this data (nmcli -f IP4.ADDRESS,IP4.GATEWAY,IP4.DNS device
show wlan0 reports it).
Actual The section is empty — no IP, gateway or DNS.
Root cause
kcms/kcm_wifi_mobile/ui/ConnectionItemDelegate.qml pushes
kcm.push("ConnectionInfo.qml", {details: model.ConnectionDetails, …}).
Since v6.6.0, NetworkModel::roleNames() (libs/models/networkmodel.cpp)
exposes only ConnectionDetailsModel — a QAbstractListModel with roles isSection
/ sectionTitle / detailLabel / detailValue. The old flat ConnectionDetails
QStringList role was removed.
kcms/kcm_wifi_mobile/ui/ConnectionInfo.qml still treats details as a flat
[label, value, label, value, …] list (model: details.length / 2), so the
Repeater renders 0 rows and details is undefined.
Regression range / evidence
v6.5.0: networkmodel.h defines ConnectionDetailsRole (flat) → mobile page
works.
v6.6.0+: defines ConnectionDetailsModelRole → mobile QML not updated →
broken (master also affected).
Runtime check on an active connection: model.ConnectionDetails ===
undefined, while model.ConnectionDetailsModel contains the expected rows (e.g.
IPv4 Address = 192.168.88.111, IPv4 Default Gateway = 192.168.88.254).
Suggested fix Either update ConnectionInfo.qml / the delegate to consume
ConnectionDetailsModel directly (e.g. Repeater { model: connectionDetailsModel;
… detailLabel/detailsValue }), or re-add a flat ConnectionDetails role
alongside ConnectionDetailsModel for backwards compatibility.
