Switching back to the debug build and waiting for a crash there, will reopen once I have anything actionable. An interesting thing I noticed: it seems like whatever state gets corrupted during the crash is tied to the location of the kate binary: * installed nightly 12373 (original): fail * re-installed nightly 12373: fail * re-install nightly 12373, but not in Applications (~/notapplications/kate.app/Contents/MacOS/kate, instead of /Applications/kate.app/Contents/MacOS/kate): pass * re-installed nightly 12469 (dated 2026-09-30): fail * debug (~/CraftRoot/build/kde/applications/kate/image-Debug-26.08.0/Applications/KDE/kate.app/Contents/MacOS/kate): pass -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
