            Bug ID: 526510
Summary: Extracted folder from RAR archive has name truncated
                    one extra dot after
    Classification: Applications
           Product: ark
      Version First 26.08.1
       Reported In:
          Platform: Arch Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
Example, if filename is `john.smith.rar` and I extract this archive by right
clicking in Dolphin and selecting Extract here, extracted folder is named
`john` instead of `john.smith`. Meaning its truncating more than .rar.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have an archive that has lots of dots in the name, like
`alpha.beta.gamma.delta.rar`
2. Right click in Dolphin, Extract - > Extract here
3. Observe the resulting folder name

OBSERVED RESULT
The folder will be called `alpha.beta.gamma`

EXPECTED RESULT
The folder will be called `alpha.beta.gamma.delta`

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a
terminal window): Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.7.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.30.0
Qt Version: 6.11.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I suspect someone did this to try trimming `.part1` and such from .rar files.
Unfortunately they didn't check what they are trimming??
