Tested with Plasma 6.7.4 on Manjaro/Wayland. The ZIP contains a QML patch, user-level install/remove/status scripts and a README. It changes Layout.preferredWidth only for the planar desktop form factor; panel behavior is unchanged. The scripts do not modify system files.
