STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Ensure `~/.config/dolphinrc` has:
[General]
SplitView=true
RememberOpenedTabs=false
2. Run from terminal (or click "Show in folder" in browser):
dolphin --new-window --select "/path/to/any/file.png"
OBSERVED RESULT
Dolphin opens the folder, but immediately displays an error banner at the top:
"Trying to open a file as a folder: /path/to/any/file.png"
