--- Comment #11 from Méven <[email protected]> ---
Git commit c41328a51ac44d915551cd61a2278b2b7f989f60 by Méven Car, on behalf of
Wellington Dias.
Committed on 04/10/2026 at 15:58.
Pushed by meven into branch 'master'.

BatchRenameJob: don't drop the tail of a name after a non-extension dot

The job split every name at its last dot but only put the tail back when
QMimeDatabase recognised it as a suffix, so an unrecognised one was lost.
Split off only what will be restored, and nothing at all for directories.
Make the dialog preview, Add text and Enumerate use the same rule so they
show the name the job actually produces.

Whether an item is a directory is taken from the KFileItem when the caller
has one, as the rename dialog does, so it is known for any protocol; with
plain URLs it is only checked for local paths.
