indexer - it has no window and no reason to die because DISPLAY points at
nothing. Either
QCoreApplication where the extractors allow it, or checking that the display we
were handed
exists and degrading to QT_QPA_PLATFORM=offscreen before QGuiApplication is
constructed.

There are two reasons for QGuiApplication:
- Some extractor plugins use code from QGui (often because something is always
initialized, even without it ever being used)
- The extractor itself depends on KIdleTime, and that requires a connection to
the compositor, i.e. some display.

The KDE session does not implement any service - e.g. via DBUs - which allows
to query for user activity. This is required to let the indexer
reduce its load on systems which are used interactively currently.
