-- Information about the crash:
Attempting to get new 4k TV functioning at 3840 x 2160 (16:9)
TV Model: Samsung S90H
GPU: AMD 9070
At first everything seemed to function as expected. While making a
configuration change there was a regression and I'm now unable to use higher
resolutions.
2560 x 1440 (16:9) @ 60hz functions
2560 x 1600 (16:10) @ 60hz does not function. Anything over this resolution
also fails in the same way.
I've ruled out it being a configuration issue. I've made a new test account and
can reproduce the crash looping.
*Description of the error*
Once a non-functional resolution is selected KWin continually crashes. This
makes it hard to change the configuration back. It gives just enough time to
alter the configuration to a functional one if you're quick. Unplugging the TV
also gets the crashing to stop.
While looping I see this output continually being produced in `journalctl`:
```
*KWin Launches Crash Handler*
After sometime KWin finally launches the crash handler. This is how I'm now
filing this bug report.
Looking through the report I noticed it talking about `(gdb)Auto-loading safe
path`. I followed its guidance and created the gdbinit config file. I then
added `add-auto-load-safe-path /`. This does not resolve the issue. All this
does is prevent KWin from crashing. Instead the system gets slow and
unresponsive. I can ocassionally move the mouse but the system is unusable.
*Additional Troubleshooting*
I'm able to plug my laptop into the TV and it works just fine at all availble
resolutions. This leads me to believe it is somehow related to my hardware.
Another note is I've built both systems off the same nixpkgs hash. So I believe
both machines are using identical version of plasma6:
```

"locked": {

},
"original": {
"owner": "NixOS",
"ref": "nixos-unstable",
"repo": "nixpkgs",
"type": "github"
}
},
```
The crash can be reproduced every time.
