            Bug ID: 526665
Summary: Application menu bar with global menu can be on
deactivated screen, causing application menus to be
                    inaccessible
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: kwin
      Version First 6.7.5
       Reported In:
          Platform: Arch Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: multi-screen
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
Application menus can become inaccessible when a global menu was present but no
longer is due to the screen / monitor it was on now being inactive. This can
also be caused by KDE changing the monitor priorities, which I suspect to be
another bug (see
https://discuss.kde.org/t/is-it-expected-that-my-monitor-config-changes-on-reboot/50699
).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add an application menu bar to Plasma so that it has a global menu (which
seems to be default)
2. Deactivate the screen you added the bar to

OBSERVED RESULT
At least PCSX2 no longer has any menus, since it uses the global menu.

EXPECTED RESULT
Menus should be inside application again since there is no visible global menu.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a
terminal window): Arch
KDE Plasma Version: 6.7.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.30.0
Qt Version: 6.11.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
KDE seems to keep track of monitors that are turned off. It also tends to
randomly change monitor priorities around, and the bars are tied to the monitor
index in the priority list. So if the priorities are changed and the
application menu bar ends up on a screen that is turned off, the application
menu can disappear without the user even doing anything.
