Hm. Yes, I see that if I change the ‘Show on startup’ to use a folder, the confirmation dialogue *does* pop up. However: This is confusing. There is an option in the settings (‘Ask for confirmation in Dolphin when: Closing windows with multiple tabs’) that by default has no effect, i.e. checking or unchecking doesn’t have an effect. If this is intentional, I think the option should be disabled (greyed out) if the ‘Show on startup: Folders, tabs, and window state from last time’ is enabled, perhaps with a ‘(I)’ tooltip button which explains why it is disabled. Also, the ‘Show on startup: Folders, tabs, and window state from last time’ doesn’t seem to work properly. On my system, Dolphin always opens with no tabs (and the home folder displayed), even if this is checked.
