Richard Kampmann <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #75 from Richard Kampmann <[email protected]> --- Could this request be reconsidered with a narrower scope: optional one-way synchronization of panel configuration across explicitly selected monitors? My setup has three monitors, two of which are identical. I would like the panels on these two monitors to share their widget selection and order, pinned applications and their order, application launcher configuration, system tray configuration, and other common panel settings. Screen-specific behaviour should remain independent. For example, each task manager may show only windows on its own monitor. Screen assignment and runtime state should not be copied. One panel could act as the configuration source, with changes propagated to the selected target panels. Bidirectional editing would not be necessary. Possible options could be: Synchronize with selected monitors. Synchronize with all monitors. Synchronize with monitors having the same logical resolution and scaling. I understand that full panel mirroring was rejected because of architectural complexity and differing screen sizes. Would this more limited configuration-sync approach be feasible? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
