Okay, admittedly, the above two posts were LLM generated, but I'd like to point out that I spent several hours trying to figure out reliable trigger and useful report. I'm sorry and I'll try again by hand. DESCRIPTION Sometimes switching full-screen mode, the desktop starts erroneously lagging. Sometimes it's just half a second, sometimes it's 9 seconds, it also can become a full freeze. I discovered that dropping from 144hz to 60hz fixes the issue. Input is unaffected, but mouse is unusable anyway, because you can't see where it is while the screen is frozen. STEPS TO REPRODUCE I didn't find reliable way to reproduce. 1. Initially I just got it occasionally, simply by exiting fullscreen YouTube video. 2. I started playing with game dev, and the issue happens very often when I run my binaries on NoGraphicsAPI (Vulkan wrapper) 3. While this is not reliable, Spectacle can cause the behaviour when taking screenshots. OBSERVED RESULT Laggy desktop after switching fullscreen. EXPECTED RESULT Stable observable framerate on desktop.
