            Bug ID: 526877
Summary: Re-parenting child message in thread (on delete) makes
                    thread ill-formed sometimes
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kmail2
      Version First 6.8.1
       Reported In:
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: message list
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
Consider we have a new thread of messages like: Message -> Re: Message -> Re:
Message. Each new message answers on previous. In this case deletion from the
middle will break the thread and we will have 2 outstanding messages.

There are other issues with saving thread structure. Consider we have a
following thread:

Message
|_______> Re: Message
| |___________> Re: Message
|
|_______> Re: Message
                 |___________> Re: Message

Deletion of the first message in the above thread will make wrong thread
structure. We will have 1 top message with some tree from it, when we should
receive 2 threads.

All these issues are from one place in the code. During Pass1Cleanup operation
we start standard algorithms for parent determining (Pass2, Pass3, ...) and
they fail. We should just set for children in the thread a new perfectly known
parent (hardly set tread status for children that their parent perfectly
known), and set parent, don't launch standard passes in case of cleanup...

STEPS TO REPRODUCE (simplest case)
1. Write a message to yourself
2. Receive that message
3. Answer on that message to yourself
4. Receive second message
5. Answer on the second message
6. Receive third message
7. Delete second message (from the middle of the thread)

OBSERVED RESULT
The thread will be disconnected. We will receive 2 top-level messages.

EXPECTED RESULT
The thread should save their structure and we should get:

Message
|_______> Re: Message (<- this is 3rd message)
