            Bug ID: 527000
Summary: yakuake size definitions are ignored on start up
    Classification: Applications
           Product: yakuake
      Version First 25.08.2
       Reported In:
          Platform: Arch Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
When a new instance of yakuake is launched, previous size definitions are not
honored. In fact, it seems they are not 'saved' unless the screen is visible
when the correct size setting is specified and applied. If the window is
hidden, subsequent calls to yakuake will position the window at irregular
places and even cut off the right side of the window.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Ensure yakuake is closed
2. Launch it.
3. Notice the right side of the window is cut off
4. Close the window and re-open, same behavior, the right side of the window is
still cut off
5. With the terminal visible, open the yakuake settings
6. Change the size (I perfer 100%/100%)
7. Hit apply
8. Now future open/close of yakuake will honor this new setting
9. Close yakuake
10. Re-open and for me, the window is mostly 100% high, but the width is cut
off to ~60%

OBSERVED RESULT
The sizes are not visibly honored

EXPECTED RESULT
Window sizes are actually respected on launch
