--- Comment #3 from Charlie <[email protected]> --- When using the slip-tool, If you added Playhead to the time line monitor so you see In/Out/Playhead like in my video instead of just In/Out you could line things up really quickly with out guessing back and forth or measuring the offset manually. That would make the slip-tool twice as powerful in one very easy to implement update. Users in Premiere and others have asked for the same thing, which shows it’s a real workflow need. Some use cases below. Syncing to a fixed point; you can see exactly what lands under the playhead while you slip, so you can match it to a beat, a cut, or a sound cue. For instance: Lip sync and dialogue: You can line up mouth movement with audio at the playhead without guessing from the in/out frames. Music and beat matching: A drum hit or beat marker sits at the playhead, and you slip until the visual action hits it. Action matching across cuts: For example, a door slam, a punch, or a ball hit can be lined up with the frame on the neighboring clip. Fewer steps: Today you have to slip, release, step through frames, then slip again. A live preview makes it one motion. Higher frame accuracy: In/out frames only show the edges of the clip, not the point you actually care about, which is usually in the middle. Works with high frame rate footage: At 60fps, being one frame off is easy unless you check with even more steps, and a live playhead view makes it obvious. This is about as clear as I can make it. I'd really appreciate this feature and I think a lot of other people would to, its gonna be one of those things where someone uses it and they think "Oh wow that's polished!" -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
