Reproduceable with KDE Linux & the latest Fedora Respin.. but not reproduceable from an up to date Fedora 44 installation. Both the respin & Fedora 44 have very similar software: Plasma: 6.7.5 Frameworks: 6.30.0 Qt: 6.11.2 plasma-keyboard: 6.7.5-1 STEPS TO REPRODUCE • Ensure plasma-welcome is set to autostart, and reboot the system • Once the session has loaded and plasma-welcome started — without switching focus away — use touch to interact with one of the large icon buttons in plasma-welcome, such as the `Install` button in a live enviroment, or in a regular session move a few pages through and use the large `Discover` button These large buttons in plasma-welcome are `ApplicationIcon`s: https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-welcome/-/blob/604ea4c3c590638c0c52da7a8d46c7d97887bec8/src/public/qml/ApplicationIcon.qml#L23 They have an onClick that calls `Utils::launchApp()`: https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-welcome/-/blob/604ea4c3c590638c0c52da7a8d46c7d97887bec8/src/public/utils.cpp#L31, and I verified the QML `ApplicationIcon` component is not at fault because the same behaviour repeats if `launchApp` is called from something else like a `QQC2.ToolButton`.. so perhaps something to do with how it calls `KIO::ApplicationLauncherJob`.
