STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Try to select a single character by holding a left-click from one of the
character's side into its other side.
OBSERVED RESULT
It doesn't select. You need to select two characters at minimum, and if you do
it too slow it will stop functioning. (see attachment)
EXPECTED RESULT
Being able to select a single character like in anywhere else that allows to
select text.
