DESCRIPTION
When you add a file with EXIF/IPTC properties on the kcm_wallpaper settings
screen, both the list of available wallpapers and the tooltip that shows when
the cursor is over the offending wallpaper display gibberish. Please see the
attached screenshot.
I verified with exiftool that it's not an encoding problem. Gvenview also
displays EXIF/IPTC properties correctly.
Unfortunately, I cannot attach the offending file because it is both
copyrighted and over the allowed size limit for attachments.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add a file with long EXIF/IPTC properties on the wallpaper settings screen
2. Observe the issue
OBSERVED RESULT
The description (from EXIF/IPTC) is displayed incorrectly, with spurious tofu
characters between the actual characters.
EXPECTED RESULT
The description is displayed correctly without any spurious characters or
visual glitches.
